Abstract

Images taken by Andre le roux van der Merwe as medical doctor of the first South African Expedition (SANAE) to Antarctica. He has written a book White Horison in Afrikaans that is now available in English. A pdf version will be available on the Antarctic Legacy archive by 2019.
