This is an oral interview, conducted in Afrikaans, with Heine Smith. The interview concerns his role in SANAP as Construction, Maintenance and Project Manager for the Department of Public Works. He was involved in the construction of the new bases on SANAE in the 1990's and Marion Island in the 2000's. Transcript included.
