The sooty albatross Phoebetria fusca and light-mantled sooty albatross P. palpebrata are largely allopatric in their breeding and pelagic ranges, but breed sympatrically at Marion Island. Regurgitated cats of food remains (mainly cephalopod beaks) were analysed to assess differences in the foods of these two species at Marion Island.
