dc.description.abstract Bird ringing activities at Gough Island are summarised for the period December 1977 to November 1982. A total of 772 birds of six species was ringed during the period and 44 recaptures have been recorded at Gough Island since 1955. Two birds have been recovered or recaptured elsewhere during the review period. Only one foreign-ringed bird has as yet been recorded at Gough Island. en_ZA
