dc.description.abstract The Sheathbills in these pictures (also known as Paddies) are endemic to a few Sub-Antarctic Islands. They nest in the ground and are opportunistic feeders. Here they are taking advantage of the food left after construction workers, working on building the base on Marion Island, have had their meal. en_ZA
