Nerina de Villiers, who is an artist, had the opportunity to go to Antarctica with the SA Agulhas, in 2007. She hopes that people can see Antarctica, the way she saw it, through her paintings. She also visited the South African National Antarctic Expedition Station. Photo: standing on the southern buttress of Vesleskarvet, a nunatak on which the fouth SANAE station is built, looking at the northern buttress of Vesleskarvet. |
