dc.description.abstract	South Africa has now been active in Antarctic Research at SANAE for ten years and the Antarctic Association will enter its tenth year on the 16th September, 1970. With this in mind the executive committee of the Association, has proposed that the new committee should investigate the holding or a nationwide essay competition for schoolchildren.	en_ZA
