dc.description.abstract The need for more logistical support at SANAE, lead to the purchase of a heavy duty tractor -D4 Caterpillar. Another addition was a Volkswagen sedan which had been withdrawn from service at the Government Garage, Cape Town and was modified to become a special snowmobile vehicle. en_ZA
