dc.description.abstract |
During the period it took to construct the Marion base, the men lived and dined in the Mouse Inn (In everything), a tent structure built for the purpose. The name refers to the mice that plagued the island and found their way into everything. The mice are not indigenous, but where unwittingly brought to the island by ships that stopped there. |
