dc.description.abstract These artefacts date from the time when sealers and whalers used to visit Marion Island. Specifically, at Ship's Cove. The crew from the sealing ship Solglimt was stranded in 1908. Its men lived on the island for a few months until being rescued by a passing ship. en_ZA
