This is an oral interview, conducted in English, with Nico de Bruyn and Cheryl Tosh. The interview concerns their involvement in SANAP as researchers on Marion Island. Nico de Bruyn started off as a birder in 2003 but returned to the island in 2006 to work on seals. He has been involved in the seal research programme since then. Cheryl Tosh spent a year on the island as a sealer as well, in 2006. De Bruyn was a member of Marion 60 and along with Tosh, Marion 63. Transcript included. |
